ARC Review - Long Way Home (Midnight in Dallas #3) by Melissa Grace
Hi Readers,
Finally to book 3 of the Midnight in Dallas series. This also marks my very first ARC read and review, so I'm excited to have the chance to participate. I received the ARC from Melissa Grace for review, so let's get into it!.
I
do want to add that this book does include some trigger warnings at the
beginning of the book and is recommended for individuals 18 and up.
TW- child abuse, domestic abuse and substance abuse
I'm
really loving the Midnight in Dallas series and I'm glad I chose to
read the first two books in the series leading up to the ARC. Reading
all three of the books currently in the series allowed me to see the
character growth of the couples from the previous books even though they
were no longer the focal point of the story. Each of these books are so
sweet and emotional and I can't wait to continue reading them.
This
book focused on Derek Knights and Jo Kingsley, and each character is
working through their own traumas. The way these characters leaned on
each other for support and learn from each other is really well written.
I think Derek and Jo might be my favorite Midnight in Dallas couple.
5/5⭐
